In the Middle Ages, flax was grown for rope and clothing, thanks to its woody, highly resistant stalks. Its cultivation was recommended by Charlemagne as early as the 9th century.

product description
Flax is an annual plant growing from 80 to 120 cm tall, flowering from June onwards with pretty little blue flowers. It thrives in all types of well-drained soil.
Uses : Flax can be used to make fabric, but also as green manure or mulch in the garden. Its seeds can also be harvested to create various remedies or to make oil.
Sowing : Broadcast from March, after the last frosts. Once in place, it will reseed itself.
