Mallow is a perennial that can grow up to 2 m tall. It thrives in all types of soil and tolerates part shade. Its mauve flowers bloom abundantly from June to September and are particularly appreciated by bees.
Uses : Mallow flowers and leaves are used in dishes, salads and herbal teas.
Mallow contains mucilage, which has soothing properties in cases of throat irritation, for example.
Sow : In place from March, this is a hardy variety that does not freeze. Will reseed itself.
