Soapwort is a perennial plant that thrives in damp, shady or sunny locations. Its small, pale-pink flowers bloom from June to August.
Uses : Soapwort root can be used to make soap or lye. It is also very pleasant in the ornamental garden.
Sowing : In early spring or autumn, seeds need cold to germinate.
