St John’s Wort is a hardy perennial that adapts to all types of soil, even the most uncultivated. It likes sun or half-shade. It blooms from July to September, producing small, star-shaped yellow flowers.

Uses : St. John’s wort is an edible and medicinal plant with many virtues. Beware, however, of its photosensitizing effect and its interaction with certain medications.
Sowing : Broadcast after the last frost, in a sunny spot. It will reseed itself once in place.
