Applewood bowl II

This bowl is made from greenwood, ie wood that wasn't completely dry at the moment it was turned.

The gentle warping of these bowls is a natural feature of the drying process after they have been turned and makes each bowl unique.

The tool marks are characteristic of a bowl turned on a pole lathe using hook tools.

Sealed with cold-pressed food grade linseed oil.

Wash in hot soapy water. Not dishwashable.

Can be occasionally re-oiled.
